Simply call 1-888-363-7822 for free, enter the bar-code of the product you wish to compare the price of, and a machine reads off the price range of the product. Shipping is included in the stated price and you can even order right then.

I called Frucall and inquired about a Logitech Mouse. The system is not at all forgiving. I had to call three times before I got the information I wanted. There is no delete or back button. If you hit the wrong key you have to hang up and call back. It’s a good thing its free.

After I finally got the bar-code entered correctly, I was told the price range for that exact product at different online stores. I was surprised to discover that the difference between the lowest and highest price was $19.

I also had trouble hearing the names of the stores that offered the mouse, but since I could buy it on my phone it didn’t really matter at the time.

Some good features include item bookmarking and search history, but they also offer some useless features like voice memos and text message reminders. My relatively standard cellphone doesn’t have internet, but it has an alarm clark feature and voice memo capabilities. Frucall is still in beta and with user traffic and feedback I am sure they will be able to refine their system.
