New Site Launch (with Screencast): The Clandestine Chef
Our newest site, the Clandestine Chef, is attempting to change the way that people learn how to cook. Watching the Food Network while struggling with ingredients? In the past. This new site makes it easy for the user to order personalized cooking lessons, even down to the exact recipes that he or she will be learning. Take a look at the screencast to see how it works. A potential chef not only gets to view a description and gorgeous photo of each recipe he or she can learn, but also exactly what skills are going to be taught to get there. Want to learn how to work with rice paper? Choose the spring rolls with sweet and sour yogurt sauce… the process is totally custom, appealing and fun, which can only promise to draw more and more users to the service.
Lessons are currently only offered in the Denver metro areas, but the site also features a store to pick up items for the upcoming cooking adventure, showing related items allowing those behind the Clandestine Chef to feature discount coupons and special prices for their aspiring gourmets. Not only that, the site features full integration with Campaign Monitor to allow real-time integration with the company’s newsletters and the customers’ accounts.
All this with an amazing concept and beautiful design. Check it out, and don’t forget to invite the Varien staff over for dinner.
